If you have watched the movie “Live by Night” starring Ben Affleck, you might have caught a glimpse of Ybor City aka “the cigarcity capital of the world”. Located at merely a 20 minute drive away from my university, I love visiting this historic and legendary town on the weekends. Besides the pretty cobblestone streets and old town vibe, Ybor attracts a large number of visitors, tourists and locals alike due to the wide variety of restaurants, shops, clubs and galleries. This particular Sunday was spent strolling around and trying the Strawberry Basil Popsicle at the hip new Popsicle Bar called The Hyppo (It tasted as good as it looked).
The denim dress worn in this post is from ONLY and I bought it a little over a year ago during the monsoon sales without trying it on only to find that it fit me perfectly once I got home (Score!). I would ideally want the dress to be a little shorter than it is right now but altering it along with the zip in the front could potentially ruin it so I left it the way it is. Since I knew I would be walking around, I paired it with my white converse because I absolutely love wearing all my dresses with my converse. The Rocket Bag is my treasured gift by my best friends before I moved across the world and I absolutely adore it! Yes, it looks like a kid’s water bottle as someone kindly mentioned it to me, but I think it looks cute besides containing my essentials so I couldn’t really ask for more.
