RAINY DAY

I am one of those people who let the weather decide my current mood. I hate the rains and the gloom it brings with it. It makes me want to curl under my blanket and watch movies all day, which might I say can get boring past two days of doing the same. It hinders my productivity and just generally puts me in a sour mood. While I cannot escape the weather this season, I can definitely play around with my outfits to put me in a preppier mood. Clothes and makeup have always made me happy so I decided to pair a ‘kind of bright for me’ mustard yellow hoodie with one of my all time favorite floral maxi skirts and got out of the house in spite of the weather and had a great day. I have never worn this combination before, but ended up loving it. My maxi skirt is almost three years old and I have worn it on numerous occasions with more girly and fitted crop tops in the past for a more festival inspired look. Never had I worn it with something so casual before. This way I guess I could get more use out of the skirt. My boots are super comfortable and totally wearable too with the short heel. So if you are anything like me, don’t let the weather put you down. Try pairing one of your fancier pieces with something super casual and go have some fun!
